Proper packing is one of the most important steps in international shipping. Long transit distances and multiple sorting hubs mean your package will be handled several times before final delivery. Follow these guidelines to pack your items securely:
Always use a high-quality, double-walled corrugated box. Avoid reused boxes that have lost their structural strength, and select a size that fits your items with space for cushioning.
Wrap each item in bubble wrap or foam sheets, especially fragile goods, electronics, or glassware. Place heavier items at the bottom of the box to prevent crushing.
Use packing peanuts, crumpled paper, or air pillows to fill any empty space in the box. This prevents items from moving and shifting during transit.
Use heavy-duty shipping tape (avoid masking or cellophane tape). Seal all seams using the 'H' taping method along the edges of the box.
